The former lead singer of the J. Geils Band is signing copies of his new memoir “Waiting on the Moon: Artists, Poets, Drifters, Grifters, and Goddesses” at Bookends in Ridgewood on Thursday, March 13 at 6 p.m.
Wolf’s book features stories about encountering a young Bob Dylan in Greenwich Village and sharing an apartment with David Lynch in Boston, according to a synopsis. Once he joins the J. Geils Band and his songs top the charts, Wolf’s talks about his encounters with the Rolling Stones, Sly Stone, Tennessee Williams and Van Morrison, according to a synopsis.
Wolf also dishes on his marriage to Dunaway, according to a synopsis.
