Her sons, Joseph Mole, Ralph J Mole Jr and his wife Sandra, survive her. She also was the grandmother of Brett and Todd Mole.
She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Ralph (1993).
She was born Nov. 2, 1923, in Brooklyn, N.Y. to the late Caroline (nee Smela) and Francis Kulaga.
Growing up in a working-class neighborhood of immigrant Polish parents with five brothers and five sisters, she learned the value of hard work early in her life. She and her four sisters helped their mother Caroline with a family catering business. Experiencing hard times, struggling through The Great Depression and World War II is what truly earned Mole and her siblings a place of honor among “The Greatest Generation.”
She was a classic homemaker of the 1950s and '60s. She happily led the two-week summer vacations to Lake George and Niagara Falls in the family 1953 Buick. She also enjoyed playing cards with her sisters in their weekly canasta club.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Church of the Ascension, 256 Azalea Drive, New Milford
The family will welcome friends and family from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Boulevard Funeral Home, 1151 River Road, New Milford.
