NEW MILFORD, N.J. — New Milford resident Theodore A. Schiffer died on Friday, May 6. He was 70.
He was a postal carrier for the South Hackensack Post Office and a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.
He loved spending time outdoors with his dog, Skippy.
Schiffer is survived by his daughters, Kim Adamides and her husband, Bobby; and Helen Siciliano and her husband. Arthur; and a son, Gerald Weber.
Schiffer also is survived by grandchildren, Lily Adamides, Christian and Isabella Siciliano, and Kaleigh and Gerald Weber; brother, Bill Mersinger; sisters, Dorothy Osterberger and Ruth Nichol.
Funeral arrangements are private and entrusted to the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, in Dumont.
An expression of sympathy made be made in Schiffer's name to the ASPCA.
