BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- Robert E. Runckel, of Bergenfield, died on Wednesday, March 8. He was 67.
A Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, Runckel was a water serviceman for U.S. Filter, in East Rutherford. He was a member of the Bergenfield Senior Citizens.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah (Olds) Runckel; sister Marjorie Sharp and her husband Richard; and nephews and niece Jeffrey Sharp and his wife Tara, Steven Sharp and his wife Lindsay, and Susan Sharp and her husband Robert.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Monday, March 13, at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S. Washington Ave., in Bergenfield, with a funeral service at noon. Interment will be in Hackensack Cemetery, in Hackensack.
