DUMONT, N.J. -- Richard J. Abel, 83, of Dumont, died Sunday, Oct. 2.
Abel was born Jan. 14, 1933, in Teaneck.
He was employed as an accountant for many years.
He is survived by his sister, Irene; and nephew, Kenneth.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Donald and Fred; and parents, Irene and Frederick Sr.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes.
Arrangements entrusted to the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., Dumont.
