Martin Blumenthal, 89, Of New Milford

NEW MILFORD, N.J. -- Martin Blumenthal, of New Milford, died Monday, Nov. 14.

He was born and raised in the Bronx. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II. He was a CPA and a partner with his son, Richard, at Blumenthal & Blumenthal for more than 30 years. He enjoyed his retirement in Florida and loved tennis, bowling and playing poker.

He is survived by his wife, Rosalie; children, Janet Lynch and her husband Stephen, Richard Blumenthal and his wife Nancy and Barbara Bryan and her husband James; grandchildren, Laura, Kyle, Tara, Julie, Rachel, Nicholas and Benjamin; and great-grandchildren, Nathan, Justin, Maxx, Renn and Nina.

Funeral services will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Robert Schoem's Menorah Chapel, 150 West State Route 4, Paramus. 

Donations may be made in his memory to The Alzheimer's Association.
