BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- Georgiana Anderer, 96, of Bergenfield, died Sept. 20.
She was born Jan. 21, 1920.
She was employed as a dental assistant at Fairleigh Dickinson University for 20 years. She retired in 1982 and moved to Florida, where she was very active with the Lake Mary Senior Center. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting baby hats for newborns for the hospital.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph.
She is survived by her children, Arlene McSherry and her husband Ray and Joseph Anderer and his wife Sharene; grandchildren, Debbie, Donnie, Raymond, Michael, Matthew, Jennifer, Matthew, Skyler Whitney; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visiting will be from 3-7 p.m. Sunday at the William G. Basralian Funeral Home, 559 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
