BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- Anthony W. Emanuele, of Bergenfield, died Wednesday, Aug. 31. He was 82.
He was born in Italy to Bettina and Francesco Emanuele, and was a truck driver for 50 years with Local #560. He was a proud veteran serving during the Korean War. He loved playing cards and lottery scratch-off tickets; he was a truck driver at heart.
He will be sadly missed by his children, Anthony and his wife Karen, Michael and his wife Janet and Bettina Dubé and her husband Hector, grandchildren, Christine, Steven, Timothy, Christina, Daniel, Carmelo and Giada; and brother, Benadetto and his wife Gerri.
There will be a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 29 N. Washington Ave., Bergenfield. Interment to follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., Dumont.
