DUMONT, N.J. – Bergenfield’s Volunteer Ambulance Corps rallied in the final inning to top their Dumont colleagues, 10-7, during their annual Fourth of July softball game.

Dumont and Bergenfield work closely together as mutual-aid partners to make sure each town is covered 24/7, so the game at TwinBoro field in Dumont provided an opportunity to socialize.

Bergenfield persevered despite a heroic diving catch by Dumont's Kyle Wengerter to end the fifth inning.

Bergenfield's Joe Frino had a triple that drove in two runs.
