New Milford Fire Company Announces 2016 5K Run

NEW MILFORD, N.J. — Raffles, massage and fun are part of a 5K event for families on June 18 in New Milford.

Sponsored by the New Milford Fire Department Company, the 5K Run, 1 Mile Road Race, Family Walk, Kids Dash and USATF-NJ Grand Prix takes place on Saturday, June 18.

Discounts are offered for family and four-person teams. There will be lots of activities for children, including shorter races.

As part of the event, adults can visit with health professionals and even grab a quick massage. There will be raffle prizes all morning; complimentary pre-race food; a post-race family BBQ; live music and entertainment.

Prizes will be awarded for the best represented running club, special categories, and much much more.
