The 2016 introductory offer, for new members only, is a family membership of $706.20 dues, plus a $500 bond. Payment plans are available. According to the swim club, there are a variety of benefits to being a bond holder:
- voting rights and the possibility of election to the board of trustees;
- discounted swim lessons -- $40 versus $60 per child, and a sibling discount for 3+ children; and
- discounted swim team participation -- $35 versus $50 per child, and a sibling discount for 3+ children.
An unbonded family membership has dues of $930.90, and has a two-year limit. Payment plans are also available. Swim lessons are $60 per child, and there is no sibling discount. Swim team participation is $50 per child, with no sibling discount.
If you take a bonded membership after one year on this plan, a $100 credit goes toward your bond payment, reducing the bond payment to $400. If you take this membership after two years, on the plan $200 credit goes toward your bond payment, reducing the bond payment to $300.
Take a look at the website for other types of membership -- single, couple and senior memberships, which also qualify for the two-year offer. The club also has standard weekday, weekend and weeknight which the above does not apply to.
