BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- Orchid propogation expert Carlos Macku will speak at the next meeting of the Bergenfield Garden Club on Monday, May 9 in the Coopers Pond Building.
Macku received his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Universidad Simón Bolívar in Caracas, Venezuela. In 1982 he traveled to California to Pursue graduate studies in Food Science and Technology, receiving a doctorate degree from University of California at Davis. He has written on the cultivation of orchids for more than 15 years.
The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m.
The Coopers Pond Building is located at 115 W Church St.
