Brian Lang — deemed the fastest Santa Claus marathoner in the world last month — finished the Philadelphia Marathon in 2:54:02.

He donated the more than $3,800 he raised for the race to Mighty Writers, a non-profit dedicated to helping kids in improve their reading and writing skills.

"I started this whole thing to do something I didn't think I could do and to raise some money for a great cause," Lang wrote on Facebook.

"What I'm leaving with is a renewed faith in myself as someone who can do amazing things when he sets his mind to it, and in people for rallying to support those in need again and again."
