Ryan and Raymond Abrecea recently held the grand opening for their martial arts studio – and they chose the location because of Bergenfield’s diversity and large Filipino population.
They say Bergenfield feels like being back home.
“I welcome them to the community and I hope they are very successful and that they spend many years in Bergenfield,” Mayor Norman Schmelz said.
Abrecea Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Martial Arts & Fitness Academy will offer classes such as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai boxing for adults and children, dynamic core kickboxing for women and boxing.
