Three restaurants have been announced as the first confirmed tenants of Paramus Crossroads, a new shopping center coming to the intersection of Route 17 and the Garden State Parkway.

A new 40,000-square-foot building being added to the 141,825-square-foot development wll be home to:

  • Firenza Pizza: Specializing in handcrafted and made-to-order pizza, Firenza Pizza will offer stone hearth-baked pizza as well as customizable salads, oven-baked wings and meatballs.
  • Jersey Mike’s: The New Jersey-based, counter-serve sandwich chain will serve jumbo subs customized with premium cold cuts and a variety of toppings, as well as hot sandwiches, wraps, classic sides, drinks and desserts.
  • Mamoun’s Falafel: Paramus Crossroads will be the company’s fourth New Jersey location for Mamoun’s Falafel, which has provided high quality Middle Eastern Food since 1971.

And more to come.

Scheduled for completion in February, the new addition to Paramus Crossroads includes spaces ranging from 1,200 to 20,000 square feet, designed to accommodate a diverse mix of retailers, including restaurants -- which will have access to outdoor seating that furthers the experience and atmosphere for diners.

The building will complement existing Paramus Crossroads buildings that house PGA Tour Superstore and P.C. Richard & Son, further enhancing the Paramus area’s renowned retail environment.

Dartmouth Company Vice President Jamie Sackeim and Senior Associate Vicki Ezra represented Advance in the transactions. Gary Krauss of Pierson Commercial Real Estate represented Mamoun’s Falafel and Jersey Mike’s. Cushman and Wakefield Senior Director David Townes represented Firenza Pizza.

“As we near completion of Paramus Crossroads, we are seeing tremendous anticipation for the project, as evidenced by our lease agreements with these highly sought-after restaurants,” said Peter J. Cocoziello, Advance Realty’s founder and chief executive officer.

“We’re extremely excited to add them to Paramus’ eclectic mix of dining options and look forward to bringing additional businesses to what is truly a first-class shopping and dining destination.”

For retail tenants, Paramus Crossroads offers picturesque landscaping, bold architecture with facades, and signage visible from both sides of Route 17 and the Garden State Parkway. Accessibility to the development will include direct right-in and right-out access on Route 17 South, and accessibility from Route 17 North via a convenient turn-around at Midland Avenue.

“Paramus Crossroads is situated in the heart of one of the most prominent shopping destinations in the United States,” said Jamie Sackeim, vice president at the Dartmouth Company.

“Not only does the site provide retailers with incredible access to a densely populated area with more than 1.4 million people within 10 miles, it’s also just a short drive to the Westfield Garden State Plaza—the third-largest mall in the New York metropolitan area and a powerful attraction for shoppers all year round.”
