Driver Hospitalized After Smashing Into Roadway Service Vehicle In Mercer County A 23-year-old driver was hospitalized after she crashed into an unoccupied roadway service vehicle along Route 29 in Mercer County, authorities said. Majanae Burke, of Bordentown, was driving northbound in a Honda Civic near milepost 0.7 in Hamilton at about 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 28 when she veered off the highway and struck a guardrail before rear-ending the Ford F350 pickup, New Jersey State Police said. The woman suffered serious injuries.  No one else was hurt., State Police said.

Philadelphia residents Jorge Mercado-Torres, 28, and Christopher Seabrook, 47, were taken into custody Monday and charged with first-degree narcotics offenses and second-degree weapons offenses, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Fiery Crash With Freightliner Claims Life Of Pickup Driver In South Jersey The driver of a Chevrolet pickup truck died in a fiery crash on a state highway in South Jersey overnight, authorities said. The Freightliner M2 was heading south on Route 29 when it struck the back of a Chevrolet GMT-400 that was stopped in the right shoulder near milepost 0.6 in Hamilton Township around 12:45 a.m., New Jersey State Police Trooper Alejandro Goez said. The Chevrolet caught fire and became fully engulfed, killing the driver, police said. The 50-year-old male driver of the M2 was not injured. The driver of the Chevrolet is pending identification.
