Convict Was Selling LSD, Mushrooms, Pot: Lawrence PD A 25-year-old convict from Lawrenceville was arrested for multiple weapons and drug offenses, authorities said. On Tuesday, June 11, at approximately 6 a.m., Lawrence Township Police detectives executed a search warrant at a residence along the first block of Woodmont Drive in Lawrenceville. Ahsan Shaikh was charged with a dozen weapons and drug offenses including the manufacture and distribution of LSD, hallucinogenic mushrooms and marijuana, police said. Shaikh was being held at the Mercer County Correctional Facility.

Bystrek made contact with the Princeton males who were positively identified as Jaylin Derry-Poole, 20, and Alfred Jornegay, 31, Lawrence Township police said. Driver, 78, Killed, Passenger Seriously Injured After Car Strikes Tree In Mercer County: Police A 78-year-old man who suffered a medical emergency died after his car struck a tree in Mercer County, authorities said. Jared Fowler, of Pennington, was driving near Fackler Road and Deer Run at about 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7 when he veered off the road, Lawrence Township police said. Fowler was taken to Capital Health Systems Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said. His passenger, Janne Fowler, 78, was taken to the hospital with significant but non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The crash occurred at 12:17 p.m. on Thursday, June 1 near Route 1 and Franklin Corner Road in Lawrence Township, police said.
