Police, firefighters and EMS crews were responding to a report of a pedestrian struck by a speeding vehicle in Atlantic County, authorities said.
The collision occurred about 9 p.m. on the 4700 block of Landis Avenue in Buena Vista Township, not far from Vineland. A SouthStar medical helicopter was en route, according to initial, unconfirmed reports.
