Shortly after 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 25, first responders from the Fruitland Volunteer Fire Company in Wicomico County were called to a mobile home on Skylar Drive, when a neighbor reported that a fire had broken out. Shortly before 12:30 a.m. in Wicomico County on Sunday, Sept. 25, a neighbor on Union Avenue alerted the Salisbury Fire Department of a fire that broke out in a nearby home that was under renovation.
