Baltimore Man Dead, Second Shot Early On Friday In Glen Burnie Apartment: Police
One person was killed and a second was hospitalized in a double shooting in Anne Arundel County early on Friday morning. Lamarge Antoine Prettyman, Jr., 20, was shot and killed in the hallway of an apartment complex in the 7800 block of Bruton Court in Glen Burnie by an unknown assailant who immediately fled the area after firing multiple shots, police say. The shooting was reported at approximately 12:50 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 25. At least two locales in Maryland are having issues at their 911 call centers, officials are advising. Alerts were issued in Washington and Anne Arundel counties on Tuesday, Aug. 22, as they dealt with technical difficulty involving emergency calls. Police in Maryland are warning area residents to be on the lookout after a resident escaped from custody.
