Inmate Found Dead In Maryland Cell; Suspect Identified, Not Yet Charged: State Police Maryland State Police have identified the inmate found dead at the North Branch Correctional Institution in Cumberland earlier this week as 28-year-old Robert Warren, officials said. Warren was discovered unresponsive in his cell on Monday, Nov. 25, and was pronounced dead by emergency medical personnel.  A subsequent autopsy conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled his death a homicide.
