64-Year-Old Woman Identified After Fatal Crash Into Tractor-Trailer In Washington County
A 64-year-old woman has been identified after she was killed in a crash involving a tractor-trailer in Washington County, police said. Hagerstown Police confirmed that Theresa Maria Poffenberger died after her SUV slammed into the back of a tractor-trailer at around 4 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29 at the intersection of Halfway Boulevard and I-81. The lives of two Maryland men were cut short in a crash on I-81 last week in Pennsylvania, and now, their loved ones are rallying to give them proper burials. Diamonte Drequan Disney, 25, and Tiheen "Tizzy" Justice Nathaniel Matthews, 20, both of Hagerstown, MD, both died in the crash Wednesday, Aug. 21 in Antrim Township, as previously reported by Daily Voice.
