Hundreds of thousands of mail-in ballots have been sent to Maryland voters, with more on the way, as the country rapidly approaches one of the most highly-anticipated presidential elections in American history. The Maryland Board of Elections issued an alert on Thursday afternoon advising residents that the first phase of the 2024 General Election mail-in ballots are being sent to registered voters who requested them. Man Who Made Thousands Of Harassing Calls From MD To Congressional Offices Sentenced: Feds
A Queens man who made more than 12,000 calls to dozens of Congressional offices and threatened to kill a staffer has been sentenced to more than a year in prison, federal authorities announced. Ade Salim Lilly, 35, was sentenced to 13 months in prison, followed by 36 months of supervised release for making threats and "conducting a campaign of pervasive harassing communications against members of Congress," according to the US Attorney's Office.
