Two women were hospitalized on Saturday in Lexington Park following a violent double stabbing during a break-in, according to the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office. Prince George's County resident Terek Demaury Ross, 28, was arrested after stabbing his victims and then attempting to flee in one of their vehicles before being apprehended by deputies in Calvert County. A 20-year-old man will spend more than a decade in prison following a midday shooting in Maryland in one of Montgomery County's busiest roads, authorities announced on Wednesday. Sorie Mansaray, who has no known address, was sentenced on July 17 to 30 years in prison with all but 12 years suspended following a July 2022 shooting that was caught on camera.
