‘He Was A Bright Light’: DMV Community Mourns Jonathan Fuentes-Ferrufino After Fatal Stabbing Jonathan Fuentes-Ferrufino was the kind of person who could light up a room — or, as one friend put it, “always had a smile on his face.”  Now, his community is mourning his loss after police say the 27-year-old was fatally stabbed inside a Northwest DC home over the weekend during a domestic dispute. Metropolitan Police Officer Shot In Northwest DC, Suspects Detained In Maryland (Updated) A member of the Metropolitan Police Department was shot and injured in Northwest DC on Monday afternoon. An officer was shot in the area of 7th Street and Oneida Place NW at around noon on Monday, May 20 and rushed to an area hospital with serious injuries, according to officials.
