Shooting Suspects Apprehended After Multi-County Pursuit In Southern Maryland: Sheriff
Four people were taken into custody following a multi-county pursuit in Southern Maryland following a shooting in St. Mary's County. Shortly before midnight, deputies from the sheriff's office were called to investigate a reported shooting in the 45000 block of Breezy Lane in Hollywood, where they found a person suffering from a gunshot wound in the area. A group of suspects put police through their paces in Frederick County during a short-lived pursuit early on Thursday afternoon. There were no shortage of charges for a trio who did their best, but weren't quick enough to avoid their arrests on weapon, burglary, and other charges. One adult and three children were injured in a Thursday morning crash following a pursuit that started in Virginia and ended on I-495 in Maryland, officials say. Shortly after 8:45 a.m. on Thursday morning, Virginia State Police attempted to stop a vehicle heading north on I-95 in Fairfax County, when the driver sped away, prompting a pursuit.
