Motorcyclist Killed, Woman Critical After Being Thrown From Bike In Maryland Crash: Police One person was killed and a woman suffered serious injuries after crashing a motorcycle during a late-night ride on Labor Day in Howard County, police say. At approximately 8:30 p.m. on Monday night, a 2006 Yamaha R6 was traveling north on Route 29 at Rivers Edge Road in Columbia when the driver lost control and crashed off the roadway.
