Early Morning Maryland Murder Under Investigation After Man Shot In Head, Police Say A man is dead after being shot multiple times in the head and chest in Baltimore, authorities say. Officers were conducting a follow-up investigation to an incident when they heard gunfire coming from the 2300 block of Ruskin Avenue just before 9 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 31, according to Baltimore police. Police ID Woman Fatally Shot Outside Maryland Housing Complex, Second Victim Still Critical An Upper Marlboro woman has been identified as the victim in a fatal shooting earlier this week, authorities say. As previously reported by Daily Voice, Miranda Queen, 37, was shot multiple times in the 12500 block of Woodstock Drive E around 10:15 p.m., Monday, Aug. 8, according to Prince George's police.  An unidentified man was also shot in the incident and is suffering from serious injuries in an area hospital.
