Teen Shooter Apprehended For Murder Of Man Near Catholic University In DC Investigators from the Metropolitan Police Department have tracked down the teen shooter who was wanted for killing a man near the Catholic University of America. Police ID Man Shot, Killed Near Catholic University In DC For the second time in less than two weeks, a man was killed near the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. Southeast DC resident Robert Lavender, 44, has been identified by police as the man who was shot in the 600 block of Monroe Street NE near 7th Street NE and later died after being rushed to an area hospital.
