Five children and one adult were transported with non-life-threatening injuries following a single-vehicle crash involving a bus that was reported by the Montgomery County Department of Police shortly before 10 a.m. in Silver Spring.
It is unclear what caused the collision, which led to the 13000 block of Old Columbia Pike being shut down on Monday morning.
Photos shared on social media at the scene showed the bus suffered extensive damage in the crash, with the front completely torn apart.
Police have not identified what caused the crash, which remains under investigation.
