Homeowner Hospitalized As Fire Causes $280K In Damages In Maryland: Officials A woman was hospitalized after flames tore through her Charles County home, causing an estimated $280,000 in damages, fire officials said. The blaze broke out shortly before 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, at a single-story home in the 8200 block of Gilroy Road in Nanjemoy, according to the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office.
