Maryland State Police Hunt Hit-Run Driver After Child Killed Falling From Vehicle On I-97 Maryland State Police are investigating a tragic hit-and-run incident in Anne Arundel County that claimed the life of a 7-year-old boy on Sunday night. The boy, who was a rear passenger in a 2011 Mazda 3 driven by his grandmother, 66-year-old Hagerstown resident Lorraine O'Neill, was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel following the crash, police say.
