Seven Dogs Perish In Massive Maryland Blaze That Displaced Family: Fire Marshal Several family pets died overnight in Cecil County when a fast-moving fire broke out in a Port Deposit home. Crews from the Rising Sun Volunteer Fire Company were called shortly before 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12 to Post Road, where residents advised that a kitchen fire had broken out.
