Maryland Man Accused Of Using Snapchat To Lure, Assault Teen In Manassas, Police Say A Maryland man is facing serious charges after allegedly using social media to solicit and sexually assault a minor in Prince William County, authorities announced. Elias Samuel Vargas Canaviri, 22, of Silver Spring, was arrested on Nov. 20 following an investigation into the reported assault of a victim under 18 in the Manassas area between Oct. 20 and Oct. 21. Manassas native Gregory Jerome Stamps, 65, is facing charges in Montgomery County after being flagged by a Bethesda homeowner who caught him on camera red-handed breaking into an area home.
