A man no stranger to law enforcement is facing a fresh prison term for taking police in Baltimore on a high-speed chase and attempting to discard evidence, federal authorities announced. Gwynn Oak resident Charvez Brooks, 35, was found guilty by a jury following a four-day trial for the illegal possession of a firearm by a previously convicted felon, in violation of federal law. Honduran National Admits To Robbing MD Post Office At Gunpoint: Prosecutors
A Honduran national living in Virginia is expected to spend years behind bars after admitting to his role in the armed robbery of a Maryland post office, federal authorities announced. Juan Ramon Ramirez Delgado, 40, who currently resides in Leesburg, pleaded guilty this week to federal charges for a commercial robbery conspiracy and for robbing a US Post Office in Brandywine. Jessup Man Accused Of Several Commercial Robberies
A 40-year-old Jessup man has been arrested after being accused of several commercial robberies throughout Prince George's County, authorities announced. James Kareen Day was indicted on Thursday, March 16 for four separate armed robberies dating back to December 2022, according to Prince George's County police. Day was taken into custody after an investigation suggested that he was behind the string of robberies that started on Dec. 23, 2022, and ended on Feb. 12, 2023. A group of suspects had a side of cash with their order after targeting a Maryland McDonald’s location during a strong-armed robbery in Dunkirk, according to the sheriff’s office. Shortly before 2:15 a.m. on Thursday, July 28, deputies from the Calvert County Patrol Bureau responded to Mcdonald's in the 10800 block of Town Center Boulevard, where there was a reported commercial robbery.
