Car Drives Into Bethesda House, Two Sustain Traumatic Injuries

Two people are in the hospital after crashing into a house in Bethesda, authorities say.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue crews were called to the 8300 block of Thoreau Drive near Whittier Boulevard around 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 11.

Rescue crews arrived to find the vehicle crashed into the home, and were able to remove the two occupants.

Both occupants of the vehicle were taken to a hospital for treatment of traumatic injuries, with one being a priority two patient.

Both people involved in the crash are expected to survive.
