The five-hour exam was conducted on Friday, April 11, at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
The 78-year-old Trump became the oldest president to be sworn in as president on Monday, Jan. 20.
A memo on the exam by White House physician Captain Sean Barbabella, was released Sunday morning, April 13.
Barbabella reported that Trump is in “excellent health” and “robust” neurological condition, and exhibits strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical function.
As part of the exam, Trump underwent various tests, including blood work, cardiac evaluations, and ultrasounds. Additionally, he completed the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), scoring a perfect 30 out of 30, further affirming his cognitive health.
Barbabella noted that Trump’s active lifestyle plays a crucial role in maintaining his well-being.
However, he did mention minor sun damage and a few benign skin lesions, alongside the medications the president takes to manage cholesterol and a skin condition.
Trump does bear scars on his right ear from a gunshot wound sustained during an assassination attempt at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, last July.
