Kelvin Evans, 40, of Baltimore, was arrested Monday night, April 14, after allegedly shooting his 21-year-old daughter during a dispute at their home on West Mulberry Street, according to the Baltimore Police Department.
Officers were called to the 2100 block of West Mulberry Street around 9:09 p.m. for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found the young woman suffering from a gunshot wound.
She was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Her condition was not immediately released late on Tuesday afternoon.
Investigators said Evans was quickly identified as the suspect and taken into custody at the scene. He was transported to Central Booking, where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder.
The incident remains under investigation.
