Man Nabbed For Assault With Weapon During Fight At Massachusetts Store

 A 29-year-old man was arrested after allegedly threatening a man with a knife during an altercation at a Western Massachusetts convenience store, police said.

Officers in Hampshire County from the Hadley Police Department were dispatched to Cumberland Farms on Russell Street at approximately 10 a.m. on Monday, July 26, where there was a report of an incident between two men that quickly escalated.

During the altercation, police said that one of the men - later identified as Maine resident Paul Fazzi - was the aggressor, allegedly displaying a knife and threatening his victim during the incident.

Fazzi was arrested without incident and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon. The knife - pictured above - was seized as evidence.

Following his arrest, Fazzi was transported to the Eastern Hampshire District Court to respond to the felony charge. No return court date has been announced.
