Taiyaki NYC and The Dough Club will be occupying a space at 6 Church St. in Harvard Square, only a few steps away from the Harvard MBTA station, Boston Eater reports.

Taiyaki NYC, which originally came to Boston in 2019, already has one location in Seaport. The shop is known for serving ice cream in warm, fish-shaped cones in a variety of flavors and tons of whimsical toppings.

Taiyaki also serves "fluffy piles of souffle pancakes and hot, iced, and frozen matcha, hojicha, and taro drinks," their website reads

Meanwhile the Dough Club, also formed in New York City, is known for their freshly-baked Japanese mochi doughnuts.

The bakery's delectable treats are often paired with milkshakes, coffee, tea other Japanese confectionery, according to their website

The shop also offers new products and flavors every so often. A spokesperson with the Dough Club told Daily Voice in an email that more information about their opening should be coming in the next two weeks.
