Police investigators in Western Massachusetts released a photo of a man who was caught on camera breaking into a home earlier this week.

An alert was issued on Thursday, April 8 as police attempt to locate a suspect who broke into a Berkshire Avenue home in Springfield at approximately 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6.

It is unclear how the suspect broke into the residence, or if he was able to steal any items from the home.

In the photo, the suspect can be seen wearing a long-sleeved plaid shirt over a graphic t-shirt. No other descriptive information has been provided by police investigators in Springfield.
