An alert has been issued by law enforcement agencies in Maryland as they seek the public’s assistance in locating a missing man who may be in need of medical attention.
The Maryland Center for Missing and Unidentified Persons (MCMUP) released a photo of 31-year-old Shawn Paavola, who was last seen on Sunday, Aug. 7 in Charlotte Hall in St. Mary’s County.
Investigators described Paavola as being 6-foot-3 weighing approximately 230 pounds. He is known to have a beard and wavy, strawberry blonde hair, officials said, and he regularly frequents Maryland’s eastern shore.
He may be in need of medical attention for an undisclosed malady, according to MCMUP.
Anyone with information regarding Paavola or his whereabouts has been asked to contact the Maryland State Police Barrack by calling (301) 475-8955 or 911.
