Sherborn Man Killed By MBTA Train Was Avid Golfer, Dover High School Graduate

The man who died when he lost his balance and fell into the path of an oncoming MBTA train this week was a Sherborn native and UMass graduate, according to his social media profiles.

Adam White died on Tuesday, May 30 at North Station in Boston, as reported by Daily Voice. 

White attended Dover-Sherborn High School, located in Dover, and graduated from UMass Boston with a degree in mass communication and media studies according to his LinkedIn profile. He most recently worked as a Technical Recruiter at TEKsystems, his profile said.

"On behalf of the entire MBTA organization we express our most sincere condolences to family, friends and loved ones of the decedent," said Transit Police Superintendent Richard Sullivan.

White also enjoyed golfing and hiking with his dog named Bennett. He most recently lived in Dorchester, his mother told WCVB.
