Will It Be A White Valentine's Day? Forecast Calls For More Snow Over Next 7 Days

Massachusetts may just have a White Valentine’s Day now that several snow showers have been predicted over the next seven days.

Snow is predicted several times over the next 7 days including on Saturday, Feb. 13, into Valentine's Day, Sunday, Feb. 14. Saturday snow is expected to begin around 9 p.m.

On Wednesday, Feb. 10, the National Weather Service forecast a chance of snow showers on three separate occasions through Tuesday, Feb. 16. 

The National Weather Service said it may snow on:

  • Thursday, Feb. 11, nighttime flurries in the coastal area
  • Saturday, Feb. 13, through Valentine’s Day, Sunday, Feb. 14, snow Saturday night into Sunday. The chance of snow is 50 percent
  • Tuesday, Feb. 16, it’s too far away for a clear picture, but the snow seems likely to fall on Tuesday, the NWS said. The chance of snow is 40 percent.

Meanwhile, the temperature over the next week will remain fairly constant with daily highs around 27-30 degrees and nighttime lows 9-15 degrees.
