On Monday, Palmer Police responded to distress at a Fox Street residence around 8:08 a.m. Police had to use force to enter the home after being blocked at the front door, according to WWLP.
Upon entrance, police found one person who was dead, and two more people: one was taken to the hospital for evaluation and treatment, and the other person was transported to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The names of the people involved have not yet been released. Neighbors and online community groups suspect an item was used to stab the victim.
In addition to Palmer Police, the Massachusetts State Police and the Hampden County District Attorney are involved in investigating the homicide.
