DC Residential Fire Displaces 2 Adults, 11 Children

Nearly a dozen children were displaced after a massive residential fire in DC, authorities say.

Firefighters were working to contain the blaze in the 3300 block of Croffut Place SE around 9 a.m., Monday, Oct. 17, according to DC Fire and EMS.

The fire was under control a short time later and all residents were evacuated from the home. No injuries were reported.

Two adults and 11 children were displaced as a result of the fire. Investigators are still determining the cause.
