A Maryland mother who shot her daughter is facing charges for attempted murder, authorities in Prince George's County announced. Seat Pleasant resident Talecka Brown, 32, was arrested in connection to a midday shooting involving her teenage daughter, who suffered critical injuries on Monday. An 18-year-old District resident has been identified as the person found with fatal gunshot wounds in a Maryland park on Sunday night. At approximately 6:45 p.m. on April 14, first responders were called to a park in the 800 block of Birchleaf Avenue in Seat Pleasant, where they found Michael Delonta Cooper suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
