Knife-Wielding Home Invader At Large After Maryland Assault, Police Say
A knife-wielding home invader is on the loose after an assault in Anne Arundel Tuesday morning, Feb. 13, police said.
Officers responded to investigate a home invasion report on the 5900 block of Belle Grove Road in Brooklyn around 9:30 a.m., Anne Arundel County Police said.
The victims stated that the suspect had entered their home uninvited, assaulted them, tried to strike them with a knife, and ran away.
The victims’ home was also damaged during the break-in, police said, adding that no physical injuries were reported.

Thousands in Maryland remain in the dark days after severe storms left extensive damage and flooding in parts of the state.
As of 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug 9, Baltimore Gas and Electric was still working to repair 1,034 active outages that were impacting 15,067 of the company's 1,340,384 Maryland customers.

Suspect Drives Through Yard, Crashes In Attempt To Flee From Officers In Maryland, Police Say
Two suspects were taken into custody during an early morning bust after they took extreme measures in an attempt to flee from police in a stolen vehicle in Maryland, according to police.
Bel Air resident Steven Dawson, 20, and 18-year-old Wesley Oxendine, Jr., of Middle River, were both arrested after officers in Anne Arundel were called to investigate reports of men tampering with a vehicle in Brooklyn.
The incident began at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19 in the 200 block of Zeppelin Avenue.

An Anne Arundel boy called 9-1-1 on his gun-wielding dad who tried strangling his mom, and was then killed by police overnight, CBS News reports.
Officers were called to a Sands Road home in Harwood, by a woman saying her husband tried to strangle her and she was able to escape to a neighbor's house around 2 a.m., the outlet said citing police.
