Southbridge Man ID'd As Victim In Fatal Fiery CT Crash
Police in Connecticut have identified the man killed in a Windham County crash last month as a 54-year-old whose truck struck a pole and caught fire, authorities said.
Craig David Laliberte, 54, of Southbridge, Massachusetts, was behind the wheel when his Ford F-350 veered off Route 198 in Woodstock, Windham County, just after 5:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, state police said.
The truck was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived at the scene.
The Connecticut Office of the Chief Medical Examiner identified Laliberte after an autopsy, and police contacted his next of kin.

Authorities have identified the two people killed in a wrong-way crash on a major route in Central Massachusetts as Susan Celauro, age 63, of East Norwich, NY and Alexander Owanisian, 35, of Southbridge, MA.
State Troopers responded to the three-vehicle crash on Route 20 at Carroll Hill Road in Charlton just before 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7, Massachusetts State Police report. The crash closed Route 20 in both directions, according to MassDOT on Twitter.

Two Passengers Ejected, Killed In Weekend Central Massachusetts Rollover Crash
Two people have died in a rollover crash in Central Massachusetts, authorities said.
Leeha Thompson, age 21, of Southbridge, and Carlos Ortiz-Pomales, age 20, of Framingham, were killed in the Worcester County crash that happened on I-395 southbound in Webster the morning of Sunday, June 26, Massachusetts State Police said.
Responding troopers discovered three passengers were ejected from the vehicle and all three, including the driver, were taken to UMass Medical for treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
