CT School Resource Officer Found Dead By Suicide After Arrest, Police Say
Ryan Moan, a 33-year-old Connecticut school resource officer, was found dead by suicide around the time news broke that he'd been arrested on Friday, Dec. 6, Daily Voice has learned.
The 33-year-old Coventry resident was found having suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound in a vehicle at the Hatch Hill Road boat launch in Vernon around 1:45 p.m., Vernon Police Chief Marc F. Petruzzi said.

Wrong-Way Driver Collides Head-On With CT Police Cruiser: Cops
An 85-year-old man crashed into a police car while driving the wrong way on a highway in Connecticut, authorities said.
Gerald Lapointe, of Florence, Massachusetts, was cited after he crashed into a Connecticut State Police car in Harwinton in Litchfield County just after midnight on Friday, Nov. 15, police said.
In the police cruiser dash cam video of the crash, the trooper flashes his spotlight on the driver to alert him, but Lapointe continues driving south in the northbound lane of Route 8, about a mile south of exit 44, authorities said.

Authorities in Worcester have indicted two men in connection with the fatal shooting of a 27-year-old mother and her 11-year-old daughter.
Dejan Belnavis, 27, and Karel Mangual, 28, both of Worcester, were indicted last week on two counts of murder each, the Worcester County District Attorney's Office said. They are being held without bail.
The two are accused of gunning down Chasity Nunez and her daughter, Zella Milton in their car in the area of Lisbon Street at Englewood Avenue on Tuesday, March 5.
